Tear with a gel-like texture for the relief of moderate-severe dry eye.

Acuaiss Dual Gel is a tear in gel form with a liquid base and viscous texture, which contains two humectants: hyaluronic acid (0.30%) and hydroxyethyl cellulose (0.10%). It affords intense, lasting hydration for the symptoms associated with moderate-severe dry eye.

Indications

People with acute and persistent symptoms of itchiness and stinging, excessively watery eyes (epiphora), sensation of a foreign body or grit, blurred vision or photophobia
People who suffer mild nocturnal lagophthalmos
Eye dryness caused by certain diseases, medication and hormonal disorders
People needing post-surgical ophthalmic treatment involving intense, persistent hydration (single-dose format without preservatives)
Contact lens users who, after many years of use, feel discomfort when wearing their lenses
Users of ortho-k contact lenses (single-dose format without preservatives).

Intense, long-lasting duration, without blurred vision

The composition of Acuaiss Dual Gel brings intense, long-lasting hydration to the eyes.

It contains hyaluronic acid at a very high concentration (0.30%) but does not cause blurred vision. The presence of a second humectant (hydroxyethyl cellulose at 0.10%) guarantees a “dual effect”: the humectants function better together than separately and hydrate the eye for much longer. The formula is hypotonic and phosphate-free.

Instructions for use

Single-dose format

These moisturising drops come in convenient 0.35 ml single-dose vials without preservatives

Remove the single-dose vial from the strip.
Twist off the top to open the vial.
Tilt your head backwards and gently pull down the lower eyelid using a finger on your spare hand. Place the single-dose vial in vertical position above your eye, press with the nozzle facing downwards and instil one or two drops in each eye.
Blink so that the drop(s) are evenly distributed all over the surface of the eye.

Contact lens users may apply the product while wearing their lenses to greatly improve wearing comfort. Or a few drops can be instilled in the eyes before inserting the lenses and after removing them to make them easier to handle.

10 ml bottle format

Instil one or two drops directly in your eyes whenever needed. If necessary, blink several times until vision is correct.

If you are a contact lens user, you may use the product while wearing your lenses to improve wearing comfort, or you can add one or two drops before inserting your lenses to make them easier to handle.
