Hidro Health H202

Hidro Health H202

One-step peroxide system with a neutralising tablet and colour indicator.

  • 360 ml + 36 tablets, 60 ml + 6 tablets
Hidro Health H202 is a contact lens care system comprising a 3% peroxide disinfectant solution, neutralising tablets and a special lens case. Indicated for the cleaning and disinfection of all types of contact lenses: soft lenses (conventional and disposable, hydrogel and silicone hydrogel) and RGP lenses.

Indications

  • Users of soft contact lenses (conventional and disposable)
  • Users of RGP contact lenses
  • Users of contact lenses who have sensitive eyes, because once the solution has been neutralised it becomes a preservative-free solution
  • Users of RGP contact lenses with problems of excess lipids should complete cleaning with a surface cleanser containing isopropyl alcohol, such as Hidro Health Iso, and a saline solution for rinsing such as Hidro Health NaCl
  • In some cases in which there is an excess of protein deposits, weekly enzymatic cleaning using enzyme tablets may be necessary.

Maximum disinfection. Total disinfection without bubbles for 12 minutes

Hidro Health H202 ensures 100% disinfection of 100% of the lens surface. Once the lenses have been inserted in the container with the peroxide solution and the neutralising tablet, 12 minutes pass before bubbles appear on the lenses so no part of the lens is left without disinfection. After this time, the neutralising process begins and bubbles start to appear.

Hidro Health H202 also has many other advantages:

  • It is the fastest system on the market because the whole process is completed in just an hour
  • It contains no preservatives
  • Lens wearing comfort improves because of the action of the humectant contained in the tablet (PVP)
  • It eliminates proteins
  • It contains vitamin B2, which serves as a colour indicator and regenerates the cornea.

Instructions for use

  1. Carefully wash and dry your hands.
  2. Fill the lens case with the Hidro Health H202 disinfectant solution, taking special care to fill it up to the level indicated by the arrow, as shown in the illustration, in order to achieve optimal disinfection. Do not pass this level or remain below it.
  3. Image
  4. Carefully place each lens in the appropriate basket then close it, taking care to not confuse the right with the left.
  5. Add the neutralising tablet to the solution.
  6. Completely close the lens case and shake it gently up and down, making sure that the tablet has fallen into the solution. After about 12 minutes, you will note bubbling inside the lens case, the tablet will begin to dissolve and the liquid will turn yellow.
  7. Leave the lenses submerged in this solution overnight or for at least one hour after inserting the tablet to guarantee that the process is complete. After this time, your lenses will be ready for use.
  8. Before opening the lens case, lightly shake it to make sure that everything inside is completely soaked with the end solution.
  9. Lift out the lenses and discard the cleaning and disinfection solution. Leave the lens case open to dry in the air. It is a good idea to rinse the lens case with a saline solution before leaving it to dry.
